We are very happy to welcome you all to Nursery and we are looking forward to a year of fun and learning.

Children can either attend Nursery for 15 or 30 hours if you get a code.

T1- week 7

T1-Week 6

Thie week we have been reading the book The Colour Monster which is all about feelings. The colour monster has a different colour for each emotion depending on how he is feeling. We made faces to show different feelings and said which colour we were feeling. 

We have painted and collaged our own colour monsters. 

T1-week 5

Thie week we have been thinking about where we live. We thought about who lives in our house and counted how many people live with us. We shared a book called Different kinds of homes and learnt that people live in all sorts of buildings and some people lived in boats.

We drew pictures of all the people in our house and also made houses and flats using collage. 

T1-Week 4

This week we have been thinking about what we look like. We have thought about how many eyes, ears, mouth, noses, arms, legs, fingers and toes we have. We learnt arhyme called 10 little Fingers, 10 little toes.

We made faces using natural objects and took photographs of them. 

Then we painted out portraits. They look fantastic!

Term 1: Week 3

We had a lot of fun on Week 3! We spent a lot of time working on some Matisse inspired colage and we loved it! 

We have also talked about things we like and we don't like and had a whale of a time singing and dancing.

You can come and see our exhibition on the 5th October in the Hall.

Term 1: Week 2

This week we stayed for lunch! We had school ;dinners and packed lunch in the hall.

We were also busy exploring our classrooma and outside. We were learning nursery routines and enjoying snack time!

We got off to a great start at Nursery!

Children have been happily exploring all the areas in the Nursery, both inside and outside.

We have been making new friends and getting to know the Nursery routines.
