St Mary Redcliffe CofE Primary: Local Governing Body Structure

The Local Governing Body (LGB) consists of all board members and meets once every term, or 6 times a year. Members also visit the school regularly to meet with the staff and monitor the learning environment. The members have individual roles and responsibilities including statutory areas such as health and safety and safeguarding, and subject areas such as English, Maths and Science.

The LGB currently organises itself around focus areas of the School Development Plan (SDP), delegating review of each area to a board member.  The assignments of these 'link' roles are as follows.
